First of all I just want to say that sending and receiving QSL cards is a lot of fun for me. I really enjoy that part of the hobby. I always QSL to anyone that wants a card. ( on my dime). I also either send a S.A.S.E. for domestic or S.A.E plus postage for DX contacts. I went back through my log for this year and calculated my return rate for three different catagories of contacts. In each catagory I included return envelopes and postage.
DX 58%
Domestic 57%
Radio Clubs 30%
It is interesting that Radio Clubs I have contacted have the lowest return rate. These results may not be typical for everyone. It is just what I have seen for this year so far.

I own the entire Elecraft K-Line. I am currently waiting on the new KAT500 tuner. I have been very satisfied with the products I have purchased from Elecraft. Their products are great...but their customer service is even better.

Congratulations.
I found that the practice tests on line were very helpful. I am sure you will do fine. Try to spend some time every day studing and when you are scoring in the 80s and 90s on the practice tests go for it.
Welcome to the hobby and to Eham.
