Can stateside QSOs be logged with DXLab's logbook,
Yes. and does it track W A S awards?
Yes. One more question, can multiple logbooks be made within DXLab. i.e, a DX log and a W A S log.
Yes, one can maintain multiple logbooks, but it would be counterproductive to do that for DXCC and WAS: you want your QSOs with HI and AK to be counted both towards your DXCC progress and towards your WAS progress. DXKeeper assumes that all QSOs in a log count towards the same DXCC awards. Thus I have one log that contains my KC6IGZ, N6YBG, and AA6YQ QSOs -- some of which were made from Northern California, and some of which were made from Massachusetts. I have additional logs for QSOs made as FJ/AA6YQ, KP2/AA6YQ, V4/AA6YQ, and 8P9RY. DXKeeper allows you to record your operating location with each QSO. Thus when checking my WAS award progress, only QSOs made from my Massachusetts QTH are considered. If desired, I could easily check to see my WAS award progress based on QSOs made when I lived in California. 73, Dvae, AA6YQ Thanks, Dave that is very helpful. I see now why DXLab get's high marks on support. Tnx, 73, KC K3ZL

Yes and yes.
I don't know about multiple logs but you can filter the log to show what you want, and track progress on a variety of awards, including WAS.
The state is entered in the log not in the QTH field but in the Award section. The Check Progress tab has a WAS (Worked All States) button. I recently decided to re-earn WAS via Logbook of the world and asked for help in the DXLab Yahoo Group. I needed to filter out QSOs that had confirmed via cards.
They told me to use this filter:
APP_DXKEEPER_LOTW_QSL_RCVD in ('Y','S','V')
It is entered in the Advanced area of the Check Progress section of DX Keeper...worked like a charm.

Great answer, Geoff. I am going to give it a try. Tnx, KC

"The Wayback Machine" by Bill Continelli, W2XOY. Issue 33 will answer the date the shift was made.
Thanks for the link to Bill's website. I enjoyed listening to his part in This Week In Amateur Radio TWIAR. Do you know if he is doing any podcast work?

Check "Feedback as Buyer" for those accounts...they're stocking up!! I can help him stock up for the next round of sells: I have a Hallicrafters with a burned up power supply. Also need recapping and after that who knows what. But it is "collector quality" and "works great".

When I was looking into Radio Mart after being shafted, it seems that he claimed to have a "G" call sign...as in a U.K. ham call sign, and as I remember, he is located in Kentucky. Also, he claimed to be a motorcycle road racer. Just wondering if anybody else noted that?

He had a nice looking Drake 2C up for auction. At that point I had not heard of him. I made the mistake of only looking at his feedback number, not the individual positives and negatives. He described the radio as being in mint collector condition, and that it worked perfectly. Well, it light up but did not work at all. He was willing to refund the money minus the shipping. I believe he made money on the shipping, and I learned a hard lesson.

Does anybody know what happened with Ted Randall's QSO Radio Show and podcasts? I can't find any podcasts having been posted in the last year or so. And, are they still being broadcast by WBCQ? I'm not sure if their website is up to date either. Just wondering... tnx.

[if you were anywhere near a WW2 surplus barn].
Do you remember Fair Radio Sales in Lima, Ohio? I ordered a brand new BC229 receiver from them. It came with 2 huge plug in coils, and a dynamotor to power it up. No BFO, but it was my first novice receiver and I worked a lot of CW with it even without the BFO. By the way, I still have it, it is fully original, same tubes, same everything, and it STILL WORKS! I power it up about once a year.
