I know they are off the shelf blade connectors inside a housing, I am actually looking for the housing, I would like to make a couple of harnesses and keep the factory plugs. I could cut the plugs off and replace them with delphi weather packs as I have the tools to do so but I rather keep it factory. They are used on the old Radio Shack 2 meter hams, Yaesu, and my Vertex Standard. I appreciate your input. I am actually looking for the mouser/newark part #

I have to agree, its like you winning something on ebay, then the seller retracting it because someone offered him a bid offline or on the side then retracting yours.
At least there you know of other bidders. If someone offered him more and you were that close to the purchase with already setting up payment and shipping quotes the most honorable thing he could have done was called you up and said I was offered x amount would you like to match it or beat it. In reality, If he advertised it for xx amount and you two agreed no matter what someone else offered for it, It tarnished his image.

I still hear local activity here in so cal in the day and even in the evening. I have one installed in my truck, You never know, some things they talk about are actual normal conversations not the typical neanderthal conversations I used to hear 15 years ago.

eHam Forums / Misc / RE: FRS/GMRS question

Some FRS/GMRS channels are shared. The 7 channels that are shared are allowed up to 5watts. The none shared channels are allowed up to 50 watts. Now the 7 shared channels a license just like the the normal GMRS channels. Business frequencies have 3 shared channels with GMRS they follow White Dot 462.575 Chan 16 Black Dot 462.625 Chan 18 Orange Dot 462.675 Chan 20 You will want to look into the rules for these frequencies, Some frequencies are allowed up to 35 watts on business frequencies some are 3 watts and some are 1 watt. You will still need to figure out what needs a license http://www.freqofnature.com/frequencies/common/business.html
