I would like to control two HF radios (K3 and TS520) and my UHF/VHF radio from my PC. I would like to use my Windows 7 PC, its keyboard, microphone and speakers as the interface to all of the radios as I would like to put the radios in a rack closer to the cables running outside. I am thinking of using a USB interface to each of the radios. In looking at the common products like West Mountain Radio and Rig Expert, it is not clear to me that I can use my computer headset microphone on the computer to push microphone audio into each rig. I primarily want to use the computer to act as a console for switching audio, microphone, PTT, and CW paddles between rigs even if I use the tuning dial and controls on the older radios.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
