Thanks for the tips and offer ,the smoothing and wiring between tx + rx had been giving me some trouble up to yester day when i managed find the wiring layout .Will send you a pm thanks.

I need to thank G3RZP for the transformer and report that i have built the rectifier and tested the out put .It giving me 1100V be for smoothing .need to sort a sutable smoothing setup next thanks.

That would work nicely ,mesage sent looks like 2013 show season could be intresting ,my 12 year old daughter is trying for her foundation licence, we may be able to work PRC 320 to t1154/r1155

I would be intrested to know the current required at 800v as i have a T1154 +R1155 witch i take to shows ,as yet the power supply for the TX has been on hold due to lack of a suitable 1200v transformer.

Your correct GR377 finger trouble ,TX about 20A 24v .The sets going to spend most of its time on my display of working sets ,that i take to shows mainly with the local Royal Signals asosiation.For any one intrested will see if i can post some pics.

Have just acquired a GR 377 .the recever side is up and running, but be for i start on the TX side i need to find a circit ,Dose any one know of a source for a manual or circit thanks Graham.
