I have an inverted l up at about 40 ft would radials help or a counterpoise. i do not have much room planning to run electric fence wire as radils or an counterpoise.I am planning to run about them 34 ft or so hope to get 4 or more I can run maybe  4 68 ft but need to run themm back to antennas but not connecting them.
4  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / RE: counterpoise or radials on: April 08, 2010, 07:50:19 AM
I was hoping to figure what would be better for me. The radials need to be elevated and counterpoise needs to be in ground correct? It might be better to just run radials for my inverted l the inverted l is cut for 160 meters 123or so feet thanks Robert
5  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / counterpoise or radials on: April 06, 2010, 08:45:46 AM
I am so confused radials or counterpoise or both? I was wondering which would be better radials or an counterpoise I have a chained link fence,I thought could be used for a countepoise and also run radials. I was wondering could you use electric fence wire as radials? thanks Robert
