I use to be a member of mars. I loved to go down to upper part of the 20 meter band and listen to the phone patch between military when the war was going on in Iraq Robert above 14.400 I think.

I was hoping to figure what would be better for me. The radials need to be elevated and counterpoise needs to be in ground correct? It might be better to just run radials for my inverted l the inverted l is cut for 160 meters 123or so feet thanks Robert

I am so confused radials or counterpoise or both? I was wondering which would be better radials or an counterpoise I have a chained link fence,I thought could be used for a countepoise and also run radials. I was wondering could you use electric fence wire as radials? thanks Robert
