Hi,
I have a really nice Comet triband mobile antenna. The other day I was backing under a tree and the antenna broke. The middle coil broke cleanly in half. Comet no longer stocks parts for the antenna so I need to repair it. I thinkall I need is a replacement for the phenolic tube that makes the center of the coil. It is about 4 inches long 5/8 diameter and has about a 5/16 hole through the center. I'm looking for ideas what I can replace this piece with.

Hi,
Can someone who has a manual for the FC-20 look up the part number of the control cable for me? I bought a used tuner but it is missing the cable. Any advice on where to get one would also be appreciated.

Hi,
Can someone tell me if the IC-CT16 Satellite Unit allows duplex satellite operation with an IC-706? Has anyone every used it? How well did the radio/sat unit work?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if I can use a Yaesu G-5400 control box with a CDE rotator? I don't have either manual so I need some help. If you have any thoughts I would appreciate them. I'm trying to put together a low cost az/el solution for satellite work.

How would you get the audio into the pocketpc? I haven't seen any with a mic input. My Ipaq has a Mic but no input jack. I doubt listening with the built in mic would work.

Anyone care to comment on where a good price can be found for a new IC-706MK2G? Everything I have seen is in the low $900 range. I read where they have been sold a hamfests for under $800. I appreciate any help. If there is a better place to ask this just let me know.
