eHam Forums / Computers And Software / OMNI-7/Win-Eqf compatibility problem

Recently had the OMNI-7 back to TenTec and they did an update along with replacing the speaker audio amp. Since then the OMNI-7 and Win-Eqf are no longer on speaking terms. Checked all settings and they are the same, the cluster still works through Win-Eqf. Wonder if anyone else has had this sort of enjoyment?

Wonder if anyone with an Omni-VII has had luck interfacing with Win-EQF? I could use the settings to be entered in the program-baud rate..etc
Thanks in advance

I had both radios and sold the pro3 because I wanted the remote control capabilities of the O-7. The kluge needed to control the pro3 remotely only seems to work when the stars align perfectly. I miss the dual receive and the panoromic display from the pro3 but not enough to go back to it. Also since becoming more adept on the O-7 I find the receiver is more operable with the different selectable IF bandwidths and the 500hz collins closes things down to where you are pretty much alone with who you are working on cw. I may try the 300hz though just to see how it works. I have received glowing audio reports on the O-7 from folks who heard a lot of me on the pro3 w/ Heil hc5 so all bases are covered. Not the flashiest philly but continually nice to ride. A serious keeper.

Hi,
I have seen a mount that inserts into a trailer hitch receiver and offsets out to the drivers side to support a screwdriver . Can anyone tell me where to find one?
