Seeking some guidance.  I have recently aquired a few used HT1250's, read somewhere on this site that some people have had success in programming these units to operate on 2m's.  Hope to do the same for operation durign emergency communication exercises and club outings/exercises.

Please advise if this is something that I could do myself, i.e. how to aquire the software, and cables, or if not, could someone suggest sources to get thso work done?

I would have tagged this to the original articles, but after signing up, was unable to re-locate the original articles.
