Apart from the WARC bands, are there other significant features that suggest that I buy a FT-902 instead of a FT-901? I plan to set up a station mainly for vhf dx, but also some hf dx. I have come across a FT-901 with transverter, antenna tuner and speaker. Is the transverter, FTV-901, any good or should I rather buy a "real" vhf transceiver like the FT-225?

a 902 instead of a 901? I plan to set up a station mostly for VHF dx and some HF dx,
and have come across a 901 with transverter, antenna tuner and speaker. It's a nice looking,
3 feet wide Yaesu line!
