1  eHam Forums / Boat Anchors / FT-101 Question on: November 29, 2004, 05:47:58 PM
Some of the Ft-101 rigs came with 11 meters already installed from the factory, so nothing is really needed to get the rig working on ten meters. If there is not 11 meter position on the band switch and he aligned one of the 10 meter positions for 11 meters, then all you will need is to get the proper 10 meter crystal and realign the rig.. I think they give you the crystal values in the manual

3  eHam Forums / Misc / Yaesu Parts on: August 14, 2004, 10:37:33 AM
Can anyone tell me how I can obtain Yaesu Parts for my Yaesu Ft-767. Since 8/1/04. I have emailed Yaesu twice and called them once and still cannot get any replies from them for two weeks. When you call YAESU you go on hold for about 10 minutes, then get switched to voice mail and ask to leave a message. You leave a message but no one ever returns your call. Any information will be appreciated. I am looking for a ROTARY ENCODER for my FT-767-GX. The part# is Q9000358. email john_robey@msn.com

I have read you story about ebay Ham equipment. I have bought quite a few items there myself. So far with luck everything has worked out fine. It would be nice if you can email me any user names you have which I should stay away from. I just purchased a used rig and it arrived damaged in shipping because it was not properly packed. I am waiting to see what will happen with this situation in the end. I am sure the claim will be reject by UPS because of the poor packing. my email is john_robey@msn.com. Good Luck
