In my ham shack my computer setup is several feet away from my ham setup and rather than buy another computer for my usage when I'm on the radio, it would be great if I could link a second monitor to the first. I already have a wireless mouse & keyboard so that wouldn't be an issue.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How can I obtain the mini scope screen whereby the top half shows the Spectrum Scope and the bottom half shows the Multi Function Meter (S strength, Power, ALC, Comp as well as the SWR). There's a current You Tube video that's titled Icom 756 Pro III High Definition that shows that this is possible however my instruction manual makes no reference to this mini scope screen option at all.

I have the original Icom 756 (from new) and am now considering moving up to one of the subsequent models....Pro, Pro11 or Pro111. I don't 'really' want to spend the big bucks on the current used Pro3's that I occasionally see available ($1800 to $2200) so I'm hoping that by dropping back to the Pro or Pro11 I may save substantial bucks and still receive a hopefully noticeable improvement over my 756. Am I unwise to settle for anything less than the Pro3 or are the other 756's still greatly improved models over my original ?

Could someone recommend a 'free' downloadable UTC clock for my Windows 7 desktop ? I'm hesitant to take one from Google searches as you often end up with many unwanted add-ons that way. I prefer asking other amateurs.
