新机进入新阶段。 这个项目真实庞大,其复杂程度超出我的预料,还好进展顺利。 等新机发布后,预计短时间内不会再做这样的便携机了,说不定未来几年之内都是行业标杆。
Below is my translation:
The project turned out too be very big. The complexity is beyond my expectation. Luckily turned out quite smooth. I expect not to do any project on a portable rig like this after the release of the product. It (X1MKII??) could the standard in the industry in the years to come!!

Turned out to be the power supply I used is a older production of Class 2. I switch to one of class B then the noise goes away. I even have one power supply of NO class listed at all. Thanks!

eHam Forums / Elmers / Noise from notebook power supply...

I operate an IBM Thinkpad notebook pc "very closed" to the TS-2000. I notice when it is on , the S-meter goes up 3 S's. I also have a RadioShack 3a power supply closed by. It also contributes. I notice after wrapping the notebook power supply with aluminium foil, noise goes down. Presently the rig is not grounded. Anything more I can do to cut down the noise?
Thanks!

eHam Forums / Elmers / Receiving CW on the Kenwood TS-2000

Just to check if the newly acquired TS-2000 is functioning "properly". After detecting strong CW signal on SSB on 20m, I switched/pressed to CW (via the CW button). However, the speaker almost went silence (not even background noise). Is the TS-2000 not functioning? or something else!
73!
