Could you recall what color wires went to what
color pins? I cant get my 104 silver eagle to
work on my 625RD, which is the exact same pinout as the 101ZD. MEcker@peoplepc.com   My call is KE2BP
(the 625 is the 6m only version look alike of the 101ZD)

I have a BPR-40 that I bought at a flea market for
5 bucks. It is also called a Mag One.

Was told it can easily go on 2m, even though its
frequency range is 150-174.

Would like to be able to set it on different 2m
freqs when I travel, and it is only for my
personal use.

Im not knowlegable about programming, nor is
this anything other than a personal 2m handheld
for me.

It seems crazy to pay 100bucks to have it programed
with a few channels I will need to change anyway
when I drive anywhere.

What is a torret and what can I do so at least
I can use the radio? Im a licensed ham and want
to use it for ham use.

Am looking for a ham-friendly repair
person to replace a
relay or two on my HP-8920A attentuator board.
If you dont know, I
desperately am seeking someone who
does. I cant afford
the "cal-shop" rates and this is the only signal generator I have. It fully works except for the relay problem. A lot of cal shops take advantage of hams because of what HP charges and
the fact that 8920As are used for buisness. This
one is just for my shack. My email is
