Guys,

The swr is fine when i checked on it tune fine and i found out about the trees  between those 2 trees from front and back they are about 94 ft beween those 2 trees and the tree in back is trimed ! they still have to come back finish the job and put wire back up ! as i saying i was using SWR ANALYZER showing 1.1 each band some are up little but not much i check all the connection all good !

And.......i checked the line make sure they are not broken or any thing ! ,but i did find some info. other atenna as well !! i guess need to learn more on these things .i may not be smart but thats the fun thing to learn !! Grin

You guys are so cool to help out other, i think you all for helping !!!!!!!!
I will try other to see what works or not working may have study on those wire antenna more. Wink

The antenna is about 30 to 35 ft off the ground ! not sure why the swr is high i even wait to go down never did go down on swr why always high make no sence to me.

We are waiting for guys come up our house trim up the backyard tree ! i will wait and see how effect the swr both antenna are ok ,just not sure why the swr is high cannot fiqure that out Undecided 

Only time will tell maybe i souldn't be worry ! whos know !! thanks for helping me out !

 my Swr is going nuts the wires are not suppost to touch trees that what cause swr go up it was ok there for awhile then goes up it don't matter if is raining or dry ! i count 28 step at front and backyard i count 67 step.

The atenna i have now is windom first atenna was G5RV now it went up so is the windom atenna it make sence touching the trees cause swr to go up !  i was about to go with vert antenna my tower is about 40 ft. i have small lot not quite room for it !! Sad up front yard is traffic go by too many house sit side by side ! i like doing 80 meters and other frq. i get on now since with swr keep go up! i get very upset i cant even get on hf !! Sad

How far apart are the trees?

i have to find out  how many ft is that ! but i  know they are too close and i dunno if i have room invert vee or loop or  not

i have to let ya know tommorrow when i get off from work ! and keep ya in posted.but i can tell you it a very small lot !! we are waiting good weather for those guy come up and trim up abit out  backyard ! plus i don't remember the size lot is! like i said have to find out for you !! Sad

Other things that i for got is my bencher paddle key that is shows ground, while and red is was like that when i brought it used !hope to catch you CW AIR !! Smiley

I use guitar cable for my 847 works great ! not have any problem !

Isn't that a shielded cable or a twisted pair?

there are 3 wires in guitar cable ,the one i'm using now is clear wire as of ground or what ever other just bear wire the non color wire like red or black so the guitar cable  is radio shack is purple cable what i'm using now ! i test is what it made contact !depand what cable i'm using !!! i hope that helps Smiley

I have a question i have carolina windom about 40 ft with 1.1 baun ,i just brought coax from huntsville ala. hamfest last month ! the question is does it matter where you put RF choke top or bottom.

I don't know if is dumb question or good question ? i did do 6' choke about 10 turns if remember right !

I had to replace the old coax since someone forgot to seal the coax since i was sick that day  Cry

I got rear ended by 17 year kid on june 20 luckly only minor damage he notice that i'm  ham radio operator with emergency tag.no space or any kind !!
