Thanks Phil
After studying Mosley's website I believe you're right. It seems to be a CL series 10, 15, or 20m Monobander. The mounting arrangement favored my old TA-33M but the matching system threw me off. They offered it on some of their models. I got a bunch of old beams from a friend and will have to sort through the pile to find all the parts that fit, so I can determine the band it's on.Thanks for the help.

Thanks James, I finally figured out the problem was with my Email. It seems I had a spam filter that decided to start cutting a lot of my incoming mail. I use Outlook Express and my ATT account had a filter that got very picky all of a sudden. I finally got in contact with Scott today.

Howdy
Has anyone heard from Scott (N3FJP) lately. I sent him a payment for Logging Software about a month ago and I haven't heard back yet. I have sent him several emails with no success. Just wondering if any of you have talked with him.
Thanks Doug KE4VBG

Hello Vince
If you are listening to SSB nets you will hear 55 or 5 by 5 as a signal report. Since it is Phone operation the 3rd number (Tone) in the RST is not needed. Just Readability and Strength.

Do you use individual diodes to make the Bridge rectifiers ? One of the bridges is very small, it's the one that generates the 5khz signal. It's about 3/8" square with 4 thin wire leads.

I was given a Triplett 3444 tube tester a few years ago that is in mint condition. I want to change out the 2 selenium bridge rectifiers and the 2 half wave rectifiers. Has anyone had experience in doing this? any advise would be much appreciated.

If you think tubes are dead just look at the music industry. Most musicians today are using tube amplifiers because the sound is superior to any solid state amplifier. The old tube amps are worth 10 times what they were when new. Most of the companies are re-issueing the older tube amps and sales are out the roof. I think Mike has a wonderful idea!!! I'd rather buy one of his radios, especially in kit form. That's a lot of whats lacking in ham radio today. Hams used to introduce a lot of technology, now they just purchase it. If they ever come out with Party Line cell phones, most won't need a radio anymore.
