OOoops, I just looked and see that you are using "APRS". Since you are hitting some digi's, I would check your deviation and other setting for 2M on the 7000.

Bob,
Looks like you are hitting the following:
WA9JDR-9 used the following digipeaters:
Callsign Icon User Pos Digi Pos Dist U->D Dir U->D Frames First Heard Last Heard KB9ZWL EN44GT EN44FT 5.0 km 290 / WNW 5 2010-01-15 23:24:13 2010-01-21 21:35:14 W9LTA-10 EN53CX EN54FA 20.3 km 73 / ENE 4 2010-01-24 21:49:19 2010-01-24 23:04:02 WD9ISQ-10 EN34SW EN34PV 19.3 km 257 / WSW 9 2010-01-16 18:39:43 2010-01-17 03:21:53 WD9ISQ-11 EN44GT EN44IU 13.8 km 65 / ENE 63 2010-01-15 02:21:47 2010-01-25 02:12:06 WD9ISQ-12 EN44GT EN44EX 17.7 km 337 / NNW 42 2010-01-15 14:15:04 2010-01-25 02:08:06
Your path is good but you may want to try putting "APRS" at the front of your path "APRS,WIDE1-1,WIDE2-2"
A good site for checking your digi's is: db0anf.de

I have used military fiber glass masts for many years. My antennas and station equipment are all properly grounded. At present I am using a 60' fiber glass mast and have not had a problem. See my article "Antenna primer". They may be refering to a non-conductive mast on top of a tower without bonding.

"On top of that, 3.580-3.582 is the very segment that has been written into the digital bandplan and published by the league as being for PSK operations. It's not right, and if you or I did it every day without checking to see if a frequency is in use, we'd be cited by the FCC... or worse."
The FCC authorizes the use of CW anywhere on the bands. The code practice was requested by hams and no one has complained about it for 50 years. The FCC authorized the operation for its benefit to ham radio. Beware of what you wish for, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you”. 73 de Lindy

Maybe you need better filtering...I work DX right next to W1AW without a problem. Seems everyone complains about one mode or the other these days.

With UI-View in fixed operation you do NOT need a GPS. You simpy program your coord into the program. You can import fixed maps from any mapping program. When mobile, the gps is a usb conection to the lap-top and my TH-D7. When in wi-fi range my mobile is also an Igate.

UI-VIEW32 with Google Earth and bing gives you pan and zoom, street level, and drive by video.

Craig,
HF APRS is on 30 meters, usually around 10147. Working HF APRS is rather complex and not well suited for general tracking. Looking at your location on APRS.FI, it seems that you should be able to hit several digi's with a 10 watt radio and good antenna.
