I've operated several years portable on a 3 co line during the ILQP.  I'm not seeing how I can upload a /P log for those contacts.  Am I missing something?  None of the 3 counties I operated from are my home county.

Cable checks fine but getting to that switch is more difficult...my lamp is out of my magnifier and my eyes are reflecting my age.

Who makes a mic to fit this 8 pin rig?  My PTT stopped.

Did anyone download the programming software from Digitalbadge.com for the LED badges they sold this year?  I computer crash has lost the program and I don't see it offered anymore on the website.  His emails bounce too.

Broke down and just ordered one from Astron, just shy of $100 shipped.  Ouch.

I too am in the market for my IC706mkIIG (new to HF mobile).  My book says the Icom speaker for it is the SP-7 (8 ohm-5W), kinda pricy and I've heard mixed reviews with no clear concensus.  Some web pages visited praise the SP-10 (4 ohm-? W)for this radio.  Method of attachment does not concern me, nore does size to a point (I'm in a F-250).  I'm not an audiophile but would would like something that sounds good and won't drive me nuts in an hour of operating.

Yes it is.  I have no schematic for the 50M, only the 35 amp version and not sure what got changed between the two.  Astron Corp does not respond to my Email requests and I have not had any luck finding replacement transformers.  I thought that might be cheaper than getting this one re-wound.

My transformer burned off the low current winding wires (secondary) in an area unreachable without considerable work.  Who can I buy a new one from and which models house the same transformer?
