1  eHam Forums / Clubs / QRP club for Southwest Florida? on: November 04, 2001, 08:44:41 AM
Hello,
I'm interested in meeting QRP'ers from Southwest Florida. I've created a Yahoo! Group called "Southwest Florida QRP Group":   http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SWFQRP
If you live anywhere between Bradenton and Naples (or ANYWHERE else), please check out the group. I'd really like to know how popular QRP'ing is in the area. THX.

Hello,
I've been looking for a QRP club in my area (Sarasota-Bradenton, FL), but I haven't found one. I'm thinking about starting my own QRP radio club for the area. If there is anyone from the West Central/Southwest Florida Gulf Coast who would be interested, please let me know. If there is enough interest, then I will go ahead and get things started. Any club that I do create would be free (ie: NO dues),,other QRP clubs seem to operate this way. I would like to have a club website, a weekly HF net and club meetings in order to promote QRP in Southwest/West Central Florida. 73.
