Does anyone have first hand knowledge that the built-in, basic TNC installed in the new Kenwood TS-2000 can be used for base station APRS?

Hi, guys!  Question:  I just bought a Kenwood TS-2000 with has a simnple TNC on board.  I'd like to get started in APRS...can I use the on-board TNC for this purpose and if so, what other gear is required?  I need an Elmer here and would appreciate anyone taking a personal interest in helping me get started.  Many thanks in advance.

Gentlemen:  I am somewhat of an anomaly, I suppose; a ham with severe hearing problems. I normally work phone exclusively with the aid of an audio amp, mixer, and rather expensive earphones.  I'd really like to work CW but will require some device to interface with my receiver's audio (Y/F-1000D) to display the translated code.  I understand MFJ makes such but have not been able to get any first hand reviews or recommendations.  I'd rather use a TNC or TNC-like device (Rig Blaster?) that would display the translated code on my PC. This is an attractive solution for me as it will also allow me to migrate into some of the digital modes, especially PSK 31. If you of you folks have and direct experience or recommendations, they would be greatly appreciated.  I know that no solution in this area is going to be "perfect" but would like to choose the best of the "imperfect" solutions.  Many thanks in advance for your time and assistance.  Best regards and 73's  Glenn N4ZW

I have seen an advertisement for a device that interfaces the Yaesu ATAS100 to radios other than the FT-100/847.  I cant find the advertisement.  Can anyone point me in the right direction ?  Many Thanks.  Glenn N4ZW

Typical problem:  Got a ltr from my neighborhood assocs. lawyer threatening to put a lien on my home if I didn't take down my Traffie Hexbeam-5.  Before I could comply, some %&@#$ cut my guywires and a kilobuck was on the ground-crushed!  No room in attic.  Other than a dipole, can anyone make a suggestion on a stealthy 10-20 meter beam?  Many thanks from Frustration-Land in Georgia. 73s Glenn N4ZW
