I really doubt someone like EB7DX provides his services for free Big difference between VU7M and ZL9HR Chris in terms of QSLing, The EB7 is a professional qsl manager getting paid to do a job,
I hope you get your card soon I'm chasing cards for my 6m DXCC and I'm getting no where fast so I feel your pain
Trevor EI2GLB
The VU7M operation does have a QSL manager and he's done a very good job. Only a few requesting a QSL fell through the cracks. When did QSL managers start getting paid? Over the years I have heard from QSL managers and some have told me they inevitably had to dip into personal funds to help out the station(s) they are assisting. EB7DX is the QSL manager for about a dozen Cuban stations. What are they going to pay him with when most have stations that look like they were from the Soviet Union during the 1950's?

While I feel you guys pain in not getting your cards I don't thinking fair to blame the op's that got short changed, they would have nothing to do with the QSL process,
Once a manager is appointed its solely up too them to handle QSL's and I would guess the guys would have nothing to do with this train wreck of an expedition again if possible.
Keep after the QSL manager its his job to provide you the card, the guys have given you the QSO's
Good luck Trevor EI2GLB

Got VK9NT for #300 a few moments before,
Have been on 299 since the new year so great to get over 300

Trevor EI2GLB
Congratulations on 300 and 301. But that is nothing compared to the congratulations you get for having a new daughter! Way to go OM. How many does that make?

Hi All
Sorry to keep digging up this thread,
Here is my current plan for my K3
Anyone have any ideas on how I might improve it.
I don't want to go over $4k if possible,
I can't see the need for the general coverage board as I don't do much SWL'ing anymore.
I also only went with one filter for the sub RX as I think that should be ok with the stock 2,7K SSB Filter.
K3 spec K3/100 K3 100W Xcvr. (Modular Kit) $2099.95 ea. 1 $2,099.95 KAT3 K3 ATU (Modular Kit) $299.95 ea. 1 $299.95 KDVR3 K3 Dig. Voice Recorder $139.95 ea. 1 $139.95 KRX3 K3 2nd RX (Kit) $599.95 ea. 1 $599.95 KXV3A K3 RX Ant, IF Out & Xvrtr Intf. $119.95 ea. 1 $119.95 Filters KFL3A-2.1K K3 2.1 kHz, 8 pole filter $139.95 ea. 1 $139.95 KFL3A-250 K3 250 Hz, 8 pole filter $139.95 ea. 1 $139.95 KFL3A-400 K3 400 Hz, 8 pole filter $139.95 ea. 2 $279.90 Total $3,819.55
Thanks Trevor EI2GLB

Thanks for the replies, I allways had the 2nd RX on my list but now I am not too sure.
If I ditched the 2nd RX and the filters I was going to put in it I could afford the P3.
Not sure what to do now.
Thanks Trevor

This is a very timely topic as I am Planning the spec of my K3, I currently have a Pro2 and I use the the dual watch function all the time to look to see where the DX is listening, Does the K3 need a 2nd RX to do this ? Thanks Trevor
