check to see if the overall length of the antenna is right. Use the overall dimensions given for the low, medium or high part of the band, depending where you want to operate. This is what effects the 20 meter performance.

First and easist thing to do is use a balun at the apex of your vee antenna. That will help some and eliminate a few problems to start. Then you can tackle the bigger ones.
