1  eHam Forums / Mobile Ham / RE: Amazon's $50 dual-band HTs on: November 25, 2012, 09:32:14 AM
why pay $50... they are $39 on ebay.

They are $39 on Amazon too. Because of the 2-day shipping and long return policy. See

I use http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=20249411

If you're looking for cheap, they're the cheapest. $3/mo is what I pay. Comes with all of the features of the other providers, and I've never had any trouble.

Has anyone used any of these very cheap HTs that Amazon is now selling? They are fulfilled by Amazon, meaning they qualify for Amazon's full return policy. I'm thinking of getting one.

I cant believe how this has gone way off topic. Let him use his radio how he wants, and you use yours the way you want. If you cant answer his question, then dont post anything.

Ebay has a feature called "Guest Account"- http://pages.ebay.com/help/myebay/myebayforguests.html. I use this when browsing the listings and watching items. To bid I will use a totally different account. Safer that way, and guest account is free and requires no password or registration.
