1  eHam Forums / Elmers / PSK31 software for Macintosh on: February 26, 2002, 08:32:09 PM
After reading some of  the replies to a recent survey here I think I might enjoy operating in some digital modes. I am interested in PSK31 and would like to know if anyone can steer me toward software that will allow me to use my Macintosh computer for this mode. Thanks for any help offered and hopefully I'll see you on the air with PSK31!

2  eHam Forums / Misc / Origin of the term "lid"? on: January 02, 2002, 12:52:39 AM
Hi Matt,
Thanks for the history lesson and the website. It certainly sounds as if this could be the origin of the term.

As a new Ham I have heard many  various definitions of  what a "lid" is (and I certainly make the effort not to be one) but where did the term come from? Thanks for answering a bit of a silly question.

4  eHam Forums / Elmers / DTMF mic for IC-706 on: December 09, 2001, 04:59:25 AM
Can anyone tell me if there is a DTMF microphone for the Icom 706IIG? Sure would be nice to add direct frequency entry to the rig.
Thanks.
