Hi OM --
I owned a ham store from 1970 to 1981 and was a dealer for Mosley.
The TA-40KR was specifically advertised to work with the TA-33 and TA-36. The advertising
literature always said, "Cannot be used on the CLassic series beams."
The CLassic feed system used a capacitive match system (as I'm sure you already know) and
the feedline does not physically attach to the elements.
I currently have up a TA-36 with the TA-40KR and like it quite well. Of course the TA-40KR only
turns it into a rotary dipole as there are no other elements in play on 40. It is amazing how well
the single dipole works when you get it up good and high. Mine is at 70 feet and I've had great
luck with it.
I hope this helps. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to write.
Good luck and 73,
Jim - K5LADjpk5lad@bigfoot.com
