Their is a bypass switch on my SB-200, when I turn it on my S meter drops, turn it off S meter goes up, sometimes my RX goes down to nothing

Yes, I have a 80M dipole with ladder line, when I load it up on 40M 20M 17M would like to get a reading, just because the SWR is good, is the radiation good? and then get a measurement from my 20M 40M dipole

Hi, I have a Steppir Dipole, Do you think I should use their Balum? or make my own? or none at all?
