I am going to get a new handheld and I am thinking of gettig a VX-6R or the IC-91A which one would be the best choice. Or should I be looking at somthing else? Thanks

I have installed my antenna a comet gp3 about 25ft high on my roof using 1 1/4 pipe, I have ran a bare copper no6 ground wire from the mast through pvc pipe about 40ft to a copper ground rod 8ft long drove in the ground, my question is, is this a good enough grounding method?

Does it hurt anything to have your mobile fm rig sitting on top of a regulated power supply in your shack? That is how I have mine and was just wanting to make sure this is ok.

I am going to mount my new GP3 on my roof, I went to home depot and got a 10ft 6in peice of antenna mast, I am going to slide it about to feet down into a sink vent pipe on my roof is there anythig I need to do as far as grounding the mast? the vent pipe that I am attaching the antenna mast to is PVC. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
