I thank everyone for their input. I not only was looking for something for myself but wanted to create an awareness of what's available/being used out there that others may find useful. I certainly have some more options now.

I'd like to build a semi-permanently installed, non-guyed, ground-mounted vertical (40-10M) using a telescoping fiberglass pole with a wire element strung up the inside (if practical). I'd also like it to be readily adaptable to an inverted L (160-60M) with the attachment of the horizontal wire section run out to a tree. I'll be using a SG-230 autotuner at the base for all matching.
I'm looking for some feedback/guidance (price vs. quality and durability) on the various brands of telescoping fiberglass poles that are on the market.
They tend to fall into two basic ranges of length that I'm most interested in, 20-21 ft. and 30-33 ft. I can either use the taller size directly or the shorter size mounted to an approx. 10 ft. fixed section of mast (possibly PVC).
The products I've found in my research are:
20 - 21 ft: crappie pole (SD-20, Black Widow, etc.) - $20 Jackite - $30 Wonder Pole Super Pro - $129
30 - 33 ft: Jackite - $55 MFJ 1910 - $80 dk9sq - $99 Wonder Pole - $200
As you can see, there's generally a sizeable (no pun intended) price difference for that extra 10 ft. and the Wonder Pole brand is just in a whole different league entirely (at least pricewise).
I understand that the dk9sq pole uses a graphite composition which would cause problems running a wire inside or alongside it. Do the others also use graphite?
So, what's your experience/opinion/recommendation?
Thanks.
