You might try Vanity Heaquarters on the web and then use the unique callsign look up which has a history of many callsigns. You can also use that site to find callsign availability. Good Luck Tom W7ZJ

I replaced the stock china made tubes in my 811h a few years ago with old stock penta 572b tubes and have been very pleased with the results. The old tubes from MFJ were showing quite a bit of discoleration on the plates. After 2 years now the 572s show no color change....and require a bit more time in the tx mode to even show color on the plates of the tube. The power out seems to be about the same..certanly no less and I am not as worried about grid current or plate current as I was with the old 811s. Still very nice to get 800out with 75watts or less drive....Good Luck. Tom...W7ZJ

The guys did one hell of a good job down there...I cant tell you how hard they worked to pull my call out of the pileups on 160M CW running 50Watts here..but they did. I think it is too easy to be the "sofa QB" and complain about the operation. Have some cheese and crackers on your desk for the next DX pedition my friend and dont be too upset if ya dont get them on the first call...but dont vent your frustration at the DX pedition operators. If ya dont like what ya hear...then its no fun for ya....turn the rig off..this is a hobby...we do it for fun!!! See ya in the Pile....73s Tom W7ZJ. @embsg.com
