I use a product call RUST BUSTER put out by Johnstone supply it worked. I was able to take the motor apart and clean it and lube it back up. The motor should be good for another 20 years. Thanks again to all. This is what Ham Radio is all about helping eachother.

The blower has a set screw in it. I have remover the screw. Where do I fine the Kriol? I have to get the cage off first and then I can take the motor out. Please let me know where I can get the Kriol.

Thanks Bob

I have been trying to remove the squirrel cage from the blower motor so I can take out the motor and lube it. But I am not having any luck. I have been trying to find a small hub puller. But all of the pullers that I fine are too large to get into the hub. After I get the squirrel cage off I will be able to lube the motor.

Hi All
I have a question about a Command HF 1250 amplifier. I just got one and it is build like a tank. The question that I have has anyone ever lubricate the blower motor? I just took the top off to look at the blower and I do not see any lube points on it. All motors over time need to be lubricated.

Thanks
