So I need some help. I'm trying to figure out why our heil proset 4 headset is not functioning properly. When I transmit I get a beep in the headset, however I have no audio coming out of the headphones only out of the radio's speaker. Doe anyone know if this headset even works on this radio? Also if I get a dual mono plug to single stero adapter will this work? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Not sure how old you are, but on wed nights at 7pm there is the young peoples net on the Catalina Repeater. 147.090 +. I used to be the net control operator a long time ago. There is always someone on there willing to talk at any time of day. Another one is 145.440 N6USO. I can't think of the PL right now but its on the internet. There is also the long beach repeater 146.145 + PL 156.7. There are a number of repeaters, just give your call and somone will anwser. Good luck

I have the ame exact radio. I dont have to press 6 everytime to scan. Now do you mean normal scan mode or just memeory scan? Have you looked at your manual yet? Also double check and see that your not in the 20 number merory bank instead of the 40. Any ther questions email me. 73s Rob

Hi, My name is Robert Dalley. I am in Long Beach,Ca. I am a juinor at Millikan High School. I started a club with my friend KD6ENO last year. Right now we are only set up for VHF,but were hoping to expand this year. Hopefully you will have full coperation from your adminestration. We didn't. If you want to carry an H-T in your backpack make sure you ask. We tried and we are not allowed as being told by the school districts lawyers. What class of licsecse are you? I am only a tech but hopefully becoming a general in the next few months. Well if you want to ask more questions feel free to email me.
