A good place to check for a clue as to what may be happening is the log of your router/firewall. It may show you what ports the firewall blocked in or out, when you try to connect.
good luck
2  eHam Forums / Elmers / LOGic 5.x or DX4WIN? on: September 20, 2000, 12:49:51 PM
I  have used dx4win for about one year now. Vers 5.01 now out has psk31 built in.  Very happy as support is supper and they have a good reflector.  Upgrade prices are fair and it does all I want it to.  The web site for demo download is www.dx4win.com. Try it you'll like it.

YES, I AGREE. VERY INTERESTING SCENERY ON THE BEACH. VERY EXPENSIVE EVERYTHING ELSE. BRING PILES OF MONEY OR DON'T BOTHER GOING. PREPARE XYL FOR " EUROPEAN STYLE BEACH BATHING", OR LEAVE HER AT HOME. BE PREPARED FOR THE LOCAL ATTITUDE ALSO. BEAUTIFUL BEACHES SEE THEM ALL.

I THINK THE IMPROVEMENT MOST DESIRABLE IN BUYING A NEW RIG IS THE RIGS ABILITY TO RECEIVE WEAK SIGNALS. I HAVE FOUND MOST RARER DX TO BE WEAK. I WENT FROM A TS440S TO A TS870S  AND FOUND A SPECTACULAR IMPROVEMENT IN THIS AREA. MONEY WELL SPENT IN MY BOOK.
