Hi the kind of G5RV is a true talk , so can add the balun at the end or can I used a RF suppressor isntead?

Hi I just recently started experimenting with CW, I ma using a G5rv an icom 746 nad noctice that when I go on 20 meter the keyr from that radio kind of go crazy, could that be RF, it only happneds at ful power in 20 meter, when I reduce the power does not happend

well thanks for the comments on the antenna, I am planning a trip out of the country, so I not walking backpacking ahahah , but I do have room to place a dipole where I am going

The reaqson I wnat thsi atenna is to take it with me to a trip to south america, so it looks like will be easy to install anywhere, if anybody has use it in portabnle condition let me know experience about it

Howdy, I have some interest on the true talk G5RV antenna , but I am wondering How do you place a Balum or RF supriser on that antena when it already comes sealed, any comes would be higly appreciated

Hi I am planning a trip to south America and I wnat to take a multiband dipole antenna, or something like that, not very expensive and easy to carry , so any good recomenadation is what to take,
