I've now tried them all and have given them a fair shake but I'm going back to ACLog for keeps.  Smiley 
It does everything I need and then some.  The product is actively upgraded and the customer support is the best one could ask for.   Wink

thanks for posting that as I use AC Log and haven't tried many others whatsoever (other than the paper logs i kept in the 70's) so it is reassuring to read that your experimentation with other logging programs did not lead to a better match  Smiley
AC Log is simple to use, has a lot of functionality, and offers regular updates and responsive customer support.

Assuming you tried HRD how did it compare to AC Log?  Thx

I used HRD for a long time.  It is a very feature rich program.  I did not use most of the features, so I switched to AC for a simplified user experience.  Also, with HRD, I had to use 3rd party programs to print labels/qsls.  I was using the free version, so I can't really speak about the new paid versions.
