Hi All, trying to get back into CW after about 30 years. I have been practicing and listening on air and noticed a change the last few times I listened on 40 meters. The CW tone sounds bad. A cross between a chirp and someone who is trying to whistle! I used to have good receive on 40 but the last week or so all cw signals have the strange sound. On 20 m signals sound normal. Any thoughts? 73s Jeff

Ok, I figured it out. I had the DNF on. This is the digital notch filter for eliminating multiple carriers interfering.  Smiley
