So I've collected two Array Solutions/Hamation band decoders and two bandpass arrays. The Bandmaster III decoder units have the older green four wire ShackLan connector with +12V, Data B, Data A and Ground pin-out. The Bandpasser II bandpass arrays use the newer 6 pin RJ-12 connector. Hamation provided the ShackLan pin-out for the green connector and says it's easy to adapt to the RJ-12 connector.  However, they fall short of providing a pin-out for the RJ-12 connector.

Can anyone provide the pin-out for the ShackLan RJ-12 connector?

You called Array Solutions and they could not help you with the wiring?

I guess I figured this would be common knowledge amongst hams that use these devices and have had to adapt between the two connector types. Anyway, I called Array Solutions today and their support is great.  They provided the pin outs by email within a few minutes.  Hamations also makes an adapter and I ordered two just to open up the options when setting these up next time around. The adapter has two RJ-12 jacks in parallel for daisy chaining and the RJ-12 connection will probably hold up better than the screw terminals.

Here's the pinout for both connector types for anyone that may need it.

Green connector*:    12V  B  A  Gnd

Adapter Jack*:         Gnd  A  B  12V

*Looking from the back of the decoder towards the front.

So the pins are basically inverted from the green screw terminal connector to an RJ-12 jack.

Please disregard the above, it is not correct. The pinout is straight through with the outside pins doubled up to carry the power.

Green connector*:    12V  B  A   Gnd
