I recently updated my profile, attempted to post an add in Classified and the system somehow put my login now as "Restricted". It has been that way for 14 days.

Is that normal?

It might be better to ask that question at the "Site Talk" sub forum.

I had the same exact thing occur just a few weeks ago to me.  I emailed the Classified Ad manager and got a fairly quick response.  He said this can occur when they detect an email in a classified ad that does not match what you have listed in your profile.  They are trying to be very proactive in protecting us from scammers!   He quickly removed my restriction and I now take care to use my profile address in my listings.

I had contacted the website admin about it and he quickly took care of the problem. I think that I fell through the cracks as it was a holiday period here in the USA and maybe everyone was out at the time on holiday.  But I did not mind the wait too much, as it is effective at keeping the spammers at bay.
