I suppose you will need an interface between your computer and your radio.

a) Are you going to be using audio "over the wire" from the IC-7200 ?  If so:


There is a sound-card built into the IC-7200, and you can run a USB link to the computer, and take advantage of it.

You'll need a USB cable from rig to computer.  And you might have to load Icom's drivers.

When you configure MRP40, you'll have to tell it to get its audio input from the (virtual) audio connection to the IC-7200.



There's extensive discussion of this on the Yahoo IC-7200 group.

If you've run something like PSK31 through the IC-7200, and you're OK with that, the answer is:

. . . Don't change anything.

You'll still have to configure MRP40 to get its input from the (virtual) USB soundcard.
