PLANKEYE,

You have been posting on these forums for ten years and one post says you were first licensed in 1961.  Why are you now posing as a newcomer?

yeah, the OP read as disingenuous to me -- sort of a venting of concerns about the present state of ham radio and emphasizing them by pretending to be a newbie with questions...

someone great once said "be the change you wish to see in the world" -- and in that vein i think the answer lies in exhibiting the kind of on air behavior which you would endorse...

Rob, thank you for your reply.

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
