Experienced Sx-28 restorers.  How do you remove the metal hub that holds the frequency wheel on the shaft..  there is a odd shape nut or is it pressed on??  i have pictures    its frustration almost done with the restoration..  any emails would be appreciated..  i have two brand new freq dials i want to install...  augie wa1jd[img

If memory serves, those have set screws holding the hub to the shaft.
In fact the main dial is on the variable capacitor, so you must be able to move it to coincide with the mesh calibration. rotate the dial and you should see them.

Have you pulled the chassis out of the box and looked at it closely?

Both dial hubs should have set screws as I recall.
