The Oro Valley Amateur Radio Club celebrates the 90th anniversary of the dedication of Davis-Monthan AFB by Charles Lindbergh in 1927. Fresh from his non-stop crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, Lindbergh flew his "Spirit of St. Louis" to Tucson to dedicate Davis-Monthan Field -- then the largest municipal airport in the United States.
