My Icom 7300 does not like my PC especially when using a USB lead

This is a video to show the problem:
https://youtu.be/Rkb8wfiNXlA

So it looks like the USB lead is the main culprit

Any suggestions please

Could be worth trying another USB cable, a friend with a TS590 had all sorts of issues that turned out to be the cable.

Agreed, I have no issues with my 7300 and its USB cable to computer connection.  Possible shield missing on the cable?.  If this isn't it try grounding the case of the PC.  There is some real "RFI trash" coming out of that thing"  Lets us know what you have tried, and the results.

Well the cable is from an old printer so could well be the problem.  Tries a couple of chokes but no different.

Grounding the case, what to?

Use some toroid cores on USB cable
