Hi
I have been looking for a used IC718 for some time for field operations and an IC728 has come up for a good price.
I looked at the specs of the IC728 and it seems to be a better transceiver than the IC718 despite its age.

Appreciate your thoughts before I take a leap of faith.
Thank you
Paul

ive owned both. the 728 is a nice simple radio with no menues. if you get it for a good price. buy it. they are solid and have nice sound. easy to use,and work on.
