I hear a bunch of morons on 7022 that do not
understand what "UP" means.

Lets see what happens tonight.
Raining here so no powerline RFI.

MOST of the morons transmitting on 7022
cannot send CW worth a crap.

They all qualify for the 2018 LEFT FOOT AWARD !

Yeah, I thought the 1400 watts and a beam was funny too! Ground mounted vertical and 100 watts here...
100w to a dipole @ 25 feet for 40 and 15m and a delta loop at 65 feet for 20/17/12/10m here  Grin

I would love to have an amp, but that costs to much for a kid... I'd love to have a beam, but my parents and the HOA would kill me  Grin Grin

But, I do live in a low-noise location, so I have no trouble hearing stations... and the delta loop performs great and the dipole, despite being low, is not terrible on 15m. However, it is very poor on 80 and 40. I really would love a 40m delta loop as those work great, but I don't think Mom and Dad would go for more wires in their trees  Wink

I do the best I can with what I've got!  Smiley

Ah fooie!  Grin I had a high-school swim meet and I missed them this afternoon on 20m.... that is the best chance I have to work them with my station.... *sigh*

My timing is off with 6O6O  Wink

Fooie?   Cheesy  Mason, I watch a lot of classic films from the 1930s and 1940s on "Turner Classic Movies" and I think popular culture dropped fooie after Mickey Rooney used it once in an "Andy Hardy" film.

Yeah, I know.  Who is Mickey Rooney and what is an an "Andy Hardy" film.  Wink

Good luck getting into sync but I think the deck is stacked against you for the 6O expedition. Maybe you can steal an amplifier?  Wink

I got them on 20 CW around 3:30 local. It was VERY tough copy on them but got through.
Good tune up for Bouvet in a few weeks.

6O6O on 14.023 Listening UP for W6/W7.

Best I've heard them on 20 Meters.

Marvin (VE3VEE), can you talk to your fellow 3's?  Hard to hear them with one, let alone two VA3's calling and tuning on his TX frequency!

6O6O QRM on 20M

Wayne, what a mess! If someone calls on the DX freq by a mistake a couple of times, I don't mind. We all have made that mistake. But if some calls, and then decides to TUNE there as well, that's a bit inconsiderate.  Grin

I was just telling a friend - wait for Bouvet.

If 1,000 Hams are calling Bouvet and just 1 in 100 haven't a clue, well that's 10 on every over, lol.

Congratulations on your DX Marathon score Bud!

Thanks Wayne, and yes, Bouvet will be fun, but I don't worry too much about it as I only need it on 20m... lol...  Grin

From the 6O6O DXpedition Facebook page:

"Daily news;
1. Everyday the Ministry visit us to chat and see how things are going. They also have started to prepare our secure departure and make sure our luggage will be in the aircraft.
2. Adrian will do some RTTY this afternoon and we will try a SSB session everyday.
3. We will install an inv V for 80m. We will also most likely install a K9AY loop.
4. We will be 40m LP to west coast at 14:30 UTC. Also look for us on 20m to NA at abt 20 UTC
5. Todays lunch is fried Goat..."

I can honestly say that I've never considered #5 ... will wait for their culinary review!

I've had goat although it wasn't fried.  I can't say it's one of my favorite dishes.  It's more like one of my least favorites.  The guys who'd had it before blamed the chef for somehow screwing it up but I think even if we had the world's best goat chef it wouldn't have tasted much better.  Goat's milk is another story.  Not bad.
