Hi: I have two B-Tech UV25X2 mobile dual band radios...I would like to use the two of them for satellite work...I want to mount them into a "go-box" sort of setup, using a duplexer to my Elk antenna, one radio for uplink and the other for monitoring downlink...Anyone see any problem with that setup? Thanks and advice always welcome!

No, but you will have to have a way to switch which radio goes to which port depending on which band is the uplink and which is the downlink.

Figured I could use a simple two-way Coax switch for that one. Thanks for the info.

Seems kind of clumsy and not feasible for actual use. Why not get a Kenwood HT that will do full duplex?
