Is there a program, for Windows, that allows one to use the audio output of the radio, into the microphone input of the computer (or audio input) for RTTY or CW?

You could try "CwGet" from http://www.dxsoft.com/

It decodes CW very well. Just watch the graphic display, click your mouse on the "peak" and it starts decoding. The speed is automatic.

For general purpose decoding (and transmitting) MixW is popular. It doesn't decode CW very well, but will handle SSTV, RTTY, PSK31, Pactor and lots more.

My code speed ranges from 22-25 WPM.  My intent is to get friends and family interested by having them learn and watch me operate.  An 8 year old child can't learn code when dad is operating at 22 WPM.  If he can watch, he can learn at a much faster rate.
