I own an FT1000 which I have installed the BPF1 module but never have installed any extra filters or performed any additional mods. Can someone tell me which filters I need for the FT1000 for SSB use as I do not work much CW but I am Pro CW. I have heard that the Nrad filters are better than Yaesu??? Also would these filters be plug in or solder in. Thanks and 73, Steve

There's a pile of filters available for the FT1000 from Inrad:

They plug-in, using a custom PC board.  Go look at what they offer, and take your choice!  If you fully "load up" the FT1000 with filters, that's a rather huge investment...

The FT 1000 has both filters in it. I have both the 1000 and the 1000D and you don't need additional SSB filters. I would not touch the stock SSB filters in the FT1000. I don't know what more you could ask for in filtering, they blow away anything else I have tried on SSB.
