I am looking for a manual for an older (circa 1988) Commander HF2500 manual or schematic. I'll be happy to pay any associated charges for copying etc. Tnx.

Yes, Command Technologies is still in business. However, I was informed by Pat Stein (owner) that the older manual is no longer available from him.

Have you contacted at Ray at Connin at QRO Technologies ??

From 1988 through 1994, Ray W. Connin (KB8VU), was co-owner and co-founder of Command Technologies, Inc. with Pat Stein (N8BRA).  Together they developed the Commander series of HF and VHF linear amplifiers.

These amplifiers were well known for their high performance, high quality, and reasonable cost.
In 1994, Pat Stein & Ray Connin split the company in half.

Based on the flip of a coin, Pat Stein kept the Command Technologies company name and the Commander series of amplifiers.

In October 1994, Ray W. Connin (KB8VU) started QRO Technologies. Ray has focuced on developing the QRO line of amplifiers around 3-500C, 4CX800A, and 4CX1600B vacuum tube designs.

IF you send Ray an email, he usually responds quickly.

I emailed Ray Connin. No luck there either. One will turn up sooner or later.
