This particular Kenwood is driving me nuts trying to figure it out!Went through all the service notes,no help.vco 1 and vco 5 expertly done,all voltages normal at the check points,still as i go from 7.500 to 7.499
as soon as the vfo is stopped nothing.Decimals in readout no transmit no receive.Any thoughts??

I have had the same problems with the dots ... I have been doing one thing at a time ... I just cleaned all the glue stuff out of the PLL sections, I still get the dots - but after it warms up now, flashes between dots and numbers, then the receive dies out and numbers are solid ...
