Guys, I interested in getting back into camping with a motorhome and combing it with ham radio. Can you give me some good sites to go to.

also check out the high serria  screwdriver antennas for ease of use ot a ft 100 d and a atas100 antenna.

Dave,
Check out www.qsl.net/wa2mzf/.  He's big into RV's and radio modes of all types.
Also, I do remember surfing into a page of a hams-with-RVs eyeball down in TX a few years ago.  The site had pics of RV and what they were using on HF.  Most were using screwdrivers, but there were was one that *really* stood out.  That RV was equipped with a Butternut multi-band vertical.  The operator had it mounted on the roof of the RV.  The RV was one the 30 foot variety.  The antenna was horizontal while driving.  When parked, the operator raised it into the vertical position.  He used an old satellite dish motor to raise it to vertical.  Don't know what he was using for an xcvr.  The page dwelt on the antennas only.
